I bought a phone and call package on the 20th April. It was flagged by Virgin security (but I've never been told why) and the courier returned it before it got to me. Now, 13th May, after I was pressured into making an entirely new order (that's what customer services insisted I had to do) I have a new phone and sim, but still can't transfer my number. Apparently my account is still flagged. And, to top it all off, the last person I spoke to said that the original sim card (which I never received) is actually still active (even though I have in writing that it was cancelled). Since the start I've never been contacted by Virgin. It's always me who phones to find out what is happening. Always left in limbo. Last week I was told the case had been escalated to management (who would contact me) but guess what, I've still heard nothing. And, yes, I'm still with (and paying) my previous provider until my number transfers. So, given that my PAC is only valid for another 5 days and I suspect the saga will continue beyond that, can I cancel the whole thing? Outwith the 2 weeks, but I suspect the Ombudsman would side with me.
