No sim

Hi, 

My phone randomly threw up a no sim inserted banner today. Now I have taken SIM out and cleaned it, reset my iPhone in case of any hardware issues, and it’s currently running latest IOS 14.0.1 software. I’m aware of SIM issues with new SIM’s being sent out, but apparently my SIM is the up to date one, so unsure why I have lost all SIM connection

I'm sorry you've suddenly got a 'no sim inserted' message on your phone. 

 

Have you recently changed the sim at all?

 

Are you able to test your sim in another handset, or alternatively try another sim in your handset? I want to see which one is causing the problem.

Hi Melissa,
I have tried my SIM in another phone and can confirm this hasn’t changed anything. The SIM doesn’t work. It is a newer style SIM that is purple. I’ve heard within the community about many issues with SIM’s currently. 

How can virgin rectify this issue?
