I've just renewed my Virgin TV, broadband & phone contract, and they've added a mobile O2 deal to the package. I already have a separate Virgin mobile contract and stated this.
The problem is the existing mobile contract runs till July, so bearing in mind virgin are migrating customers to O2 anyway, will they allow me to cancel the existing Virgin Mobile contract without penalty when I get the new O2 SIM, or will these be viewed as separate contracts by O2 & Virgin?

Hey Kevell,
Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post.
You would be able to cancel the existing VM contract, if you wish to keep the number that you have with Virgin Mobile, you can transfer this to O2.

Many thanks for the reply.
I was worried they'd class it as a cancellation of the existing contract rather than a change, there are separate contracts for Virgin & O2 mobile.
It's a little messy at the moment with the pending Virgin/O2 merger.
I'll see what happens when I get the new O2 SIM.
