My father in law closed his account last month and settled up in store and the store cancelled his direct debit.
he has now received another “final bill” and we tried calling to pay it but the call handler wouldn’t take payment and hung up on us.
He is elderly and confused and 200 miles away. We want to pay the bill and stop his stress. What can I do? He has no account details as the account was closed.
