My Virgin mobile is moving over to O2 I pay for the £30 unlimited monthly account. It is supposed to be cheaper or the same going to O2 why is my new payment now showing as £34.95 an increase of 16.5%.
@turnerd1 It would seem that your switch has coincided with the annual price rise that both Virgin Mobile and O2 apply in April. February's RPI plus 3.9% which was 17.3%.
So if your increase is 16.5% then your new O2 contact must be marginally cheaper than the plan you were on with VM before the switch.
