I'm abroad from the UK and need to access my mailbox, can a CS help?

I've never had to set one before, so don't have a PIN number. 

Looking at the forums this seems a frequent occurence, surely there must be a better way of doing this for customer that seem to be getting locked out all the time when they discover this the first time they go abroad.
