My 19 year old son is in Costa Rica. His virgin mobile was working fine until a couple of days ago when he started to get an “invalid sim” message. He seems to be able to text me occasionally but only to tell me that and I’m worried that we’ll lose communication with him. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.
I am sorry to hear your son is having issues with his SIM whilst abroad and the concern it is causing you and your family. Did you take out the contract recently? Or have you had it for some considerable time? If so has there been a recent SIM replacement actioned as a result of our network migration? If so was that SIM replaced before your son travelled?
