Identity theft - reporting fraudulent accounts

A few years ago, someone used my identity to take out various credit arrangements at two addresses with which I have no connection. Most have now been sorted out and the police have arrested and charged someone (his trial was postponed for COVID-19)

My problem is that I have two Virgin Media accounts on my credit report and cannot find how to tell Virgin. I cannot call because I do not have the telephone number or the account number.

Is there a fraud reporting system?

Re: Identity theft - reporting fraudulent accounts

Hi 24TheFront,

Sorry to hear that this has happened to you and can understand that you want your records corrected and make sure there are no outstanding accounts that has been opened without your consent. Regarding your credit report, in case you have any queries about it relating to any Virgin Media items on the report, you may send an email to creditfileamendments@virginmedia.co.uk who can check for you.

I'm going to send you a Private Message to get some information from you to see if there are any accounts and go from there. Please reply back to it so I can help.

Thanks,

Lisa
