I took a mobile contract out in 2011 and defaulted in 2012. Trying to obtain a mortgage but because Virgin Mobile have recorded an initial default date of June 2018 instead, this has cost me the purchase of my home. Tried hours of calls to customer advisors who are of no use and sent numerous emails to the credit reporting department with zero response. Annoyed is beyond the word!!! How can a default be deport 6 years AFTER a default?! Awaiting the aid of a financial ombudsman to help me rectify this but super annoyed by virgin mobiles lack of communication or even acknowledgement of my dispute. Terrible company!!
