I am 18.
My phone has been in my mums name for 3 years. We just transferred it all in to my name.
I have tried to upgrade to an Iphone 14 but have been told that I cannot as I have no credit score.
I am really cross as no-one warned me that this might be an issue when we transferred the phone in to my name.
Is there any way around it? Any idea on how long it would be before I can upgrade?

I'm not sure on the specifics of Virgin Mobile/O2's upgrade setup, but a pay-monthly mobile account is a credit-based system much like any other service provision where you receive monthly bills.
