Contract Cange

Had an email today saying that my current contract deal is no longer available and will be changing to a deal that costs £9 more a month.

I don't think so.

Is this allowed?

Re: Contract Cange

(Damn only £4 a month currently? That’s nice)

so from that I would say that the choice is if you don’t agree to the new one then you can just outright cancel. Usually you get a period of time from the notification for you to take that option if you wish. The update would be to allow a continuation of service.

Re: Contract Cange

A lot of these letters going out :-(

You have the right to cancel/say NO, at the bottom of letter should be a date to cancel by (March 31st ?).  If you do not cancel by that date - it's acceptance of the new contract.

If you have a Freestyle phone loan, this will stay the same/not change if you cancel the SIM.

Re: Contract Change

It does say that I can say no to the new contract however I can't find a sim only deal which is anyway near the current one I have. Not good from Virgin Mobile

Re: Contract Change

One of the easiest ways to check what sim deals are about at present, is to use USwitch - choose sorted by Monthly Cost
