After porting in my number from Three, I can't receive any calls or SMSs, except from Virgin. Making calls and sending texts are fine.
I spoke to two customer service agents. The first sent me a new SIM card, but changing SIM did not solve anything. The second said it was due to mast problems that will need reinvestment, and that might take months??? Absolutely insane. I mentioned to both that my other services are fine, and it's just receiving calls and SMS.
A browse through the other forums shows that other people have had split port issues. I flagged this up to both customer service agents (Marthy and Aileen) but were ignored.
This is terrible service, VM. I'm not able to access my bank account to pay anyone, as I need SMS verification codes for that. Sort it out or I am going back to Three. Would rather pay them more to have a functioning phone.
I have raised this with our IT team and they will aim to get this resolved within 3-5 working days, the reference to that is; P010254761 . I can appreciate this is not ideal at all, but it is a better resolution from what you have advised in your original post. As soon as I get any updates I will be sure to let you know.
