Cancel monthly sim plan

I have left Ireland and am travelling for a year so I need to cancel my monthly contract. I am having great difficulty getting this done. Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry to hear you are having issues processing cancellation with our team. We can understand the frustration caused. 

Just to clarify, do you have services with Virgin Media Ireland? https://www.virginmedia.ie/
