Can't register mobile account

I am unable to register for an online mobile account. I have set a phone password so can get through the first security question, but when i then input my email and the password to be my online account password and click to create my registration, the site is saying "please double check your password follows the rules" and won't let me go any further. The password definitely follows the rules - i have tried multiple options which all follow the rules - and all fields have a green tick by them to indicate they follow the rules. Please can you assist?

Have you been able to try do this on an alternative device or web browser to let us know if it shows the same message?
