Can’t receive calls or messages offer porting

I posted my number from o2 to virgin on Monday. Since then I have been able to make calls but not receive calls or messages. I have called through to the support team 3 times. Each time they ask useless questions like is the mobile data on. They tell me to turn the phone off and they will call me back on another number. Each time no one does. 

I have seen in other forums that this might be a split port issue?

how do I go about fixing this?

I have looked into this further and we would need you to confirm your sim serial number, please could you send over via a private message the serial number or IMEI number from your sim card?
