Hello I recently got a new debit card so I had to change my details for every site I use, I paid the virgin media bill manually, but then I have been billed again at the end of the month. Is there a way to get my money back? To take away the second payment

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. The quickest way would be to recall the Direct Debit by speaking to the banking and explaining, they'll do this for you 🙂
