verbal contract price not honoured

i was verbally offered a deal through the online chat box.

i recieved a v6 box and installed it 

for over a week and FOUR new versions of the contract being emailled to me, the price is its still not correct. 

ive been assured that it has been set up properly , but i am not convinced.

now i am being told i need to activate my v6 box for the price to kick in

 

does anyone have any advice

Hi georgem2203,

Hopefully a member of the Forum Team will pick this up for you and look at your contract, but it may take a day or two.

I'm a customer the same as yourself and I would activate the V6 box so I could watch TV, however I would also expect VM to honour the agreed price. If not rectified with the latest contract I would put in an official complaint contactus/make-a-complaint 

If after 8 weeks they hadn't resolved it then I would go to CISAS,  as per VM's Complaints Code of Practice

Sorry to hear about your contract issues. I've had a look at your account and can see that you've spoken to an agent since you posted about this. Was he able to answer your questions?

not really. 

all i want is a new contract showing the price that was originally quoted

i have been waiting for 8 days and now im being told that a "credit" will show on my bill within 72 hours.

why i cannot have a new contract with the correct monthly price i dont know?

in addition

im being told that "if" the credit isnt applied , the agent will help me with a complaint

"if" is slightly ambigous!

I understand what you mean georgem2203. If any credits was applied to your account, it will show up on the account and next bill (provided that the bill wasn't generated too soon so it could be updated by the system). I'm going to send you a Private Message so I can grab some details from you and take a look.
