renewed package for my 84 year old father and now he cannot access any channels

Hope somebody can help, I spent several painful days on the te3lephone and on chat trying to renew my fathers virginmedia package. Have the transcript from the chat which shows the operative agreeing what is in the package only to find out when the contract came through that many channels were not actually there. Finally agreed a package yesterday but he now has no access to any channels. Every channel asks him to upgrade his package to view yet he has 250mbs and all channels including sky sports, TNT and sky cinema. They advised me they would raise this and it would be sorted but he still has no channels and they are now hounding him for return of equipment.

I am really annoyed at this as my father cannot cope with this hassle at his age and has nothing to watch now. Anybody get to the bottom of this?

Can you post a screenshot of the web-chat?

And has your father received a copy of the proposed contract?
