problem registering password for my virgin media

Hello. I am also experiencing the same issue. Have tried several different passwords and all coming up with the same  "Sorry, there was a problem registering that password. Please choose a different one" and is getting on to being frustrating.

Any help trying to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Community Forums.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a similar issue when registering to your My Virgin Media. The prevention of cookie usage or the activation of specialised browser protection features can cause these problems. For clarity, have you attempted to register using a different browser, or Incognito/Private Mode?

Have you been able to access the My Virgin Media app in the past?

Hello, 

I'm having the same exact issue described above.
I tried so many different passwords but it doesn't accept any of them, even with the requirements checked.

I have also tried on different browser and using private window, still doesn't accept my password.


Could you help me with this, please?

I am so sorry that you have faced issues with your online account, can I just ask are you registering a new account or trying to log into an already set up account?
