overcharging for change of package

Virgin sent me an email for a black Friday deal upgrade, for £50 instead of £88, I accepted the offer yet they are trying to charge me the full price, despite ringing and eventually getting through its still not been changed and are charging me the full amount, I cant get this sorted out.

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your package contract looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration. I would be more than happy to look into this for you, before we go further can I just ask which package you signed up to with this Black Friday deal?

It was the £50 instead of £88 for 18 months,
