old socket, needing a new wall socket

My Virgin Media Hub 3 just came in but realised need a socket wall installed. I end up calling and the person on the phone said its been booked for this Saturday ( 09.09.23 ) and said i get an email confirming the appointment, but nothing has came through, anyone can check this for me?
