new customer to VM, I have the Hub5x, but this fails too connect to the Virgin media connect app - help!

I am a new customer to Virgin media. Just had the broadband installed yesterday. The router is working fine, and the speed is awesome.

However, I can't get the Virgina Media connect App to work. It simply can't find / connect to the Hub , even though its working perfect!!

We don't find the VM Connect app to be useful.

Manage the Hub 5x via a web browser at http://192.168.0.1/

I have the correct app for the Hub 5x

So not the "Virgina Media connect App" then.

Hey, RitchieRich.
Thanks for your post on our help forums and sorry to see you've been unable to connect your VM Connect App to the new hub 5x.

We'd love to assist with this, however as you mentioned your broadband kit was installed only yesterday please do give it 48 hours' time before the App can detect and link to the new equipment - let us know here if you're still unable to make this work.

It should not be the case as by tomorrow all our systems will have synced with the new data on the account, however we'll be eager to help if you need more support with this.
