error when creating a new 'My Virginmedia' account

Hi I have been unable to create a Virgin media account for my new broadband with the surname, account number and area code provided in the email I received and I've tried it on multiple browsers and devices and none of them solve the issue.
The error message is:
"The details you have entered are incorrect, please check and try again".
I see lots of people are having similar issues. Please can someone resolve. Thanks
