error when creating a new 'My Virginmedia' account

Hi I have been unable to create a Virgin media account for my new broadband with the surname, account number and area code provided in the email I received and I've tried it on multiple browsers and devices and none of them solve the issue.

The error message is:

"The details you have entered are incorrect, please check and try again".

I see lots of people are having similar issues. Please can someone resolve. Thanks

Sorry to hear of the problems faced setting up your online account, we appreciate you raising this via the forums and welcome to the community.

 

Can you confirm if the service has been installed? If so, was this recently? It can take a few days for the details to update and allow a My VM account to be set up.

 

If not, the account would need to be active for you to register and set up the online account. More details on the MY VM app can be found here virg.in/myVM
