If so your legacy VM email address will only survive a few months after.

It is correct that once you cancel your services, you have 90 days to transfer anything important over to a new email provider. After this timeframe has transpired the email will be deleted off our servers.

Are you still able to login to your Online Account without issue?
Lastly, have you tried to login to your Email via a different device, and yes this allowed you access?
