Re: coming to end of contract

best way is by phone. they can orrder a better deal for a new 18 months contract but they won't match the new customer deals.

You will need to give 30 days notice to cancel if you do want to leave. this can be done by phone or post

Re: coming to end of contract

I managed to sign a new 18 month contract, being an existing customer, for M350 (Broadband only) at £43.50/month (new customer £38.99/month at the time, now currently £56/month on the VM site. However there are 'New customer' deals elsewhere for £36/month!):

  • Visit the VM site (Below is an example):

https://www.virginmedia.com/shop/broadband/broadband-only

  • Wait for the 'Live Chat' to pop up (Black box on the right hand side):

  • Click options until asked to wait for one of the team to reply.
  • As them that you would like to speak to the 'Customer Relations' team.
  • Leave the chat window open, leaving your PC/Laptop on overnight if required (I had to leave it open for 22 hours before I got a reply, but it worked).
  • If the chat window doesn't appear just keeping clicking around the site, it will eventually.
