change to contract

I have just received an e-mail from Virgin Media to say that my package will rise by £15 per month from May despite being on a fixed contract until August. How is this acceptable?

Re: change to contract

Hi @lynette1

VM don't offer fixed contracts. They offer minimum term contracts which require a minimum of 30 days cancellation notice.

The majority of the contracts include fixed discount amounts during that minimum term, the overall price can go up, but the discount amount will remain the same.

Re: change to contract

Hi @lynette1,

Welcome back to our Community Forums! Thank you for your post and query.

Your individual price rise will be specific to the service you have. Overall, the average price rise is 13.8%. Some price changes will be lower and some customers will be excluded completely.

Every customer will receive an individual price rise specific to them. If you wish to discuss your increase further, you can reach us online (virg.in/contactvm), by calling 150 from your Virgin Media landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.

Thank you.
