Hi,
I have an old account that is no longer in use and has no equipment linked to it, the account was set up in May 2022 but was cancelled due to my house move not happening, the equipment was never delivered and I've been assured by virgin WhatsApp chat that this is correct and is not active.
Iam now moving into my new property and have set up a new order (24th September 2022) and been given a new account number, now this is the issue, when I login in to 'my virgin' to check delivery status or my account it takes me to my old account that I have been told was cancelled.
Is there any way of deleting this account.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this with your new account when logging in. Just to confirm, did you register your new account again as seen here https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/register. Also, did you use the same email to register? How long ago did you leave our service?

Hi Akua,
When trying to register the new account is says there is already an account with the same email, below the sign in / register tabs there is a tab about access to another account with the same email, I've clicked this and filled in the information for the new account and this still takes ne to my old account.
Yes they are both the same email address.

Hi,
Problem resolved.
I managed to access my old account change the email to a different one I have.
Cleared my cache and history folder.
Got the the register page entered my normal email, new account number ect. New password.
All is working fine
