my bill has gonme up by £17 why ????? no warning just gone up

Likely a contracted removal of a discount.

Check your contract and every bill - if this is the cause, it will be documented there.

Compare this higher bill with previous one.

I had the same problem went up £22.00 didnt notice for 6 months until direct debits started getting returned to other companies,i expect that you bonus discount for staying has come to an end.Rather than email and post a letter they now just email with the hope you will think its the normal spam junk emails you get and not bother reading it.

they don't have to let you know when discounts end.
That is on EVERY bill you get as well as the contract you agreed to.
