Xbox Gift Not Received

Like a worrying number of customers on the Community Forum I joined Virgin with the promise of an Xbox.

I signed up  with Virgin on 19 April and transferred over on 8 May from BT. I was told I would receive the Xbox within 4 weeks of the service starting.

After 6 weeks I rang Virgin (after an unproductive online chat which ultimately gave me a number to ring). I was told that in fact it would take 28 days to be sent out and a further 14 days to deliver.

Its now been seven weeks and still no sign or communication concerning this.  Very disappointing particularly when you've told your teenage son that the Xbox is coming.

Update : I've now been told it is 42 working days (8.5 weeks / 60 days) and therefore on schedule ?. Wouldn't have minded if I'd been told that at the outset although its a remarkably long time to deliver an Xbox
