When to cancel and not incur fee or go beyond contract period

Hi,

I have an 18 month contract that ends on 14 January 2024, then the price will double. I want to cancel this package with the due amount of notice so that it doesn't tick over to the new price. However the site says if I cancel before 13th January I might get an early cancellation fee. So when should I put in the cancellation request to not get a penalty but end the contract on time? I'm a little confused.

Hey ASmith3, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry you are looking to leave us .

If you are looking to leave I would put your 30 day notice in around on 14th December this way it will end on the 14th Jan 24. Cheers

That's a good idea to write a letter. It's always good to have things in black and white. And a trip to the Post Office isn't as painful as a phone call.

Thanks.
