Gosh, how would we ever manage without insights like this? Who would ever have thought that this could happen? Why it even explains the reason why when I changed car insurance this month my insurer of many years lost my custom to a new insurer because as a new customer I got a large first year discount. Never heard of that before. Guess I should have done a Facebook poll and wasted other peoples' time.
And next year I shall do the same again because I won't be a new customer and they'll put my premium up. How would I ever have managed without you telling me that new customers get better deals than existing ones. And of course it never registered with you as fact that you probably got a deal when you first joined.
It's how businesses work these days. Switch to get a better deal. The whole system is set up to do this by the regulators yet amazingly most people don't do it. And has it ever struck you that VM offer a whole range of packages at different broadband speeds and different TV levels, plus premium TV add ons, like sports and specialist channels. You'd be surprised therefore if there wasn't a range of prices charged - except you don't seem to have worked that out.
Don't take this too seriously. You aren't the first person to work this out. You won't be the last. We see it every day here on the Forum. Oh and by the way - when are you going to switch from VM to get a better deal?

Customers will all be on different packages, meaning some may be more expensive due to the type of package. Others may be benefitting from promotional discounts which will explain the the differences in price.
