WRONG EMAIL address when signing up

Hi, hope someone can help

We opened a new account for my daughter and put her email address as co.uk rather than .com therefore we haven't been able to verify the email and log in to the account. The direct debit and engineer visit is all booked up - please advise asap how we should sort this as cant get through on the phone and virginmedia on twitter advised posting on here
