Very Concerning - Wrong Direct Debit Amount Taken

Today I noticed that VM collected smaller amount (£5 less) on the direct debit than the bill due amount. I had to manually make an additional card payment to cover the shortfall, but the silence from VM on this topic this is really concerning especially for the issues that might face customers in terms of impact on their credit score.

FYI I didn’t make any changes in the plan for awhile now, and I don’t have any O2 or sim contracts. 

Why is this happening and what are you doing to fix it?
