VM Contract renewal error

Wingsmith
Tuning in

Hello, It looks as there has been a mistake in your accounting system as I took out a new eighteen month contract with VM on 25th June this year, so renewal should be in December 2024, not 2023. Kindly let me know the situation.

Hey wingssmith, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.

Did you take a full new contract out in June or was it just like adding TNT sports to the account for example?

Please do let us know because changes like adding TNT sports for example wouldn't put you into a new contact. Cheers

Thanks Matt, It’s been difficult but thanks to WattsApp I did finally get to discuss the double cost of my contract. After much discussion it was decided that a reduced package from Maxit down to Mixit along with half broadband speed down to 250mb resulted in just a 13% cost increase instead of 100%. Hopefully this won’t turn out to be too drastic a cutback.

Hi @Wingsmith thanks for your reply here.

We're glad that you were able to get things sorted by reducing your package - we do hope this helps but if you do need any further assistance then please don't hesitate to let us know!
Many thanks

Thanks Tom, it wasn’t easy to get reduction of that horrendous double price increase. I still haven’t had confirmation of how long this new contract is for or whether to expect yet another price hike in the coming weeks!

Hi @Wingsmith thanks for your reply.

All new contracts are generally for 18-months - you should get an email confirmation of this soon but if you haven't heard anything over the next few days then please don't hesitate to let us know!
Many thanks

Thanks Tom, that’s good to know. Will check through formal contract when it arrives.

Hi @Wingsmith thanks for your reply.

You're very welcome - any further issues (hopefully not!), please don't hesitate to let us know.

Many thanks
