Unable to register for MyVM - DEF01

Hi all, 

I'm aware there's a sticky for this, however it seems to advise this error is fixed, so my issue might be different.

Getting the old DEF01 error when trying to register for a new account, tried the usual different browser, different machine and the MyVM app, still no joy.

Spoken to the chaps on WhatsApp a few times now who just keep telling me "Not to worry, it will 100% be fixed in 48 hours" who end up ending the chat when i try and tell them i've already done this.

Any chance one of the forum guys can have a look at this for me please?
