I have been trying to contact VM for the past week regarding a change of address. I would like to take my VM services with me, but it seems impossible to do this.
I have tried calling, but the message says the "moving team" are not working at the moment and to try the online message/chat service. I have been trying this since last week, and get no response.
I've tried the "leaving virgin media" option on the phone, but am on hold for 30 minutes plus, before I lose my patience.
Any suggestions (other than cancel my DD - this may be next on my list),

You could try the text messaging service.
Just send a text with a description of Home Move to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days.
If calling 150 from your Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, options 1,1 and 4 Moving Home, it's best to call at 8am to avoid call queues.

Unfortunately, waiting a few days to get a text reply regarding a house move, for someone who wants to continue to pay a company, is pretty poor service.
I have waited 30 minutes on the phone to be put through to cancellations, who assure me that the moving team are working, and I'm now on hold again, 35 minutes and counting!
