Turning off marketing calls

I've had 4 calls over the past 3 days from the Virgin Media marketing team. Each time I've said I'm not interested and to stop calling but the message does not seem to be getting through...

I do not want to be informed of special offers. I've just updated my contract and am happy with it.

How can I update my marketing preferences to stop these calls?

There's a marketing preferences option in "My Virgin Media", under "My profile" or something similar.  That should work, but if it doesn't stop the problem, then complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

It can also take around 28 to take effect if I remember correctly.  You could block those numbers in the meantime?
