Trying to set up new account with existing email

I have an old account from a few years ago when I had a TV and broadband package. I've just ordered new broadband and been assigned a new account number. When I try and create a new account, it says I can't use my email because it's already in use. Can I delete my old account, or is there a way to update it so I can use with my new package?

You would still be able to use your services without setting up an online account, this wouldn't affect the service itself.

 

Can you send a screenshot of the error you get when trying to regsiter?

You are right, I can get the service to work now. There was a connection problem that I assumed might be due to me not being able to log on, but the connections team have fixed this now.

This is the error message I got when trying to register with a different email. However, I'll just wait now until the IT dept have sorted my main email address and then try again.

Yes, works fine, all set up. Thanks for the help.

Still think it would be better to allow the user to do this, but nice to know the forum works.
