Transfer name on account

Hello,

I was wondering if somebody at Virgin could help me, I have filled in the form twice to transfer ownership of my virgin media account into my husband's name.

I sent it via email twice but I have had no communication that it has been received, I have tried phoning but I don't get very far, it says online it should be processed within 10 days.

I only sent the original form a few days ago but it would be nice to know if it has been received and in the process by virgin?

I have heard a few horror stories on here so it would be nice to know something is happening and I am not waiting for nothing.

Need to be careful that you haven’t ended up costing yourself twice with impatience now.

 

Acknowledge would be nice but sending twice before the deadline is a bit daft.

It was what I was advised by Virgin. Not a very helpful reply.

Sorry for any confusion around the status of the Transfer Of Responsibility on your account.

 

We'd be unable to provide any specific information, but can check this has been handled correctly once a security check has been completed.

 

I'll send a PM so we can get that done & hope to hear back from you soon so we can clear things up.

ironically if it has taken place you can't be told as you are no longer the account holder and will fail the security checks 🙂

@apcyberax although we wouldn't be able to discuss any details from the 'new' account, as long as the person who we're speaking to can complete a security check on the 'old' account we would be able to confirm if the request has been processed or not.

 

Hopefully I've been able to provide the reassurance garthybarthy was looking for.
