Firstly do you mean a TiVo or a V6? Check here if you're not sure.
The V6 & V360 both require VM broadband, as they don't have an inbuilt connection like the TiVo.
At the moment, a swap from TiVo/V6 > V360 is optional for existing customers, and only on particular packages (namely the "Ultimate Oomph" Quad Play deal. It's only fair to point out that there is currently functionality that's missing on 360 that TiVo/V6 has, as well as new functionality that 360 has. In other words - it's different, and a swap is often a one-way street.
