Theres already an account registered

So after 12 days of waiting for my contract I decided to call and find out what was happing with my account as engineer is due on the 26th of January to be told I needed to provide proof of address and driving licence which I did the the next day I received an email saying because there is already an account from ex tennet I cant get a 2nd virgin account and told to chase the account holder up to get change of ownership I dont know who it is or where they are and I dont think I should be chasing the ex tennet as its nothing to do with me can anyone advise me what to do as when you phone virgin it makes little or no sense as there all robots
