Do you receive confirmation after you have terminated your account with Virgin, I terminate my Virgin/ Blueyonder account on the 11th March and was advised the account would end 18th March as yet I’ve not received any confirmation.

Standards vary.  When I cancelled by letter this year, I got the reaction you'd expect from tickling a corpse, although the account was closed properly on time.  Some people report that they have had email acknowledgement so seems to be utterly random. 

That's how much your prior custom is valued.

Once your services have been disconnected, our system will tot up any bills and credits that are left over, and give you a final bill. This is produced up to 30 days after your disconnection, which gives time for any changes you've made since your last bill to show on your account.
