I’m in lockdown at my daughter’s house so I won’t be using my services - phone, broadband, tv for the foreseeable future. Is there any way I can freeze my services and payment until I need to reconnect? (Ie like Sky Sports have done)
I'm afraid not. I phoned Virgin the other day and explained my situation, (quoting the comparison of Sky/BT sports) The chap I spoke to said ‘but you don’t have Sky sports’!
He just didn’t get that I could be paying for stuff (for perhaps 3 months?) but won’t be using them at all. My gym suspended my direct debit straight away - don’t see why Virgin can’t do the same. They must be able to see that I’m not using any of the services?
