Suspending subscription

I’m in lockdown at my daughter’s house so I won’t be using my services - phone, broadband, tv for the foreseeable future. Is there any way I can freeze my services and payment until I need to reconnect? (Ie like Sky Sports have done)

Re: Suspending subscription

 Hi Maureen,

I'm in a similar position, have you had any luck with Virgin and placing your plan on hold?

Thanks

Scott

Re: Suspending subscription

Hi Scott,

I'm afraid not. I phoned Virgin the other day and explained my situation, (quoting the comparison of Sky/BT sports) The chap I spoke to said ‘but you don’t have Sky sports’!

He just didn’t get that I could be paying for stuff (for perhaps 3 months?) but won’t be using them at all.  My gym suspended my direct debit straight away - don’t see why Virgin can’t do the same. They must be able to see that I’m not using any of the services?

Re: Suspending subscription

Hi Maureen,

Thanks for letting me know, yes that was sort of the response I was expecting too from Virgin...not the most helpful or understanding company.

They seem to have a very short sighted view to customer service.

I am still trying and will let you know my outcome.

Take care.

Scott
