Signing up online for my account

Evening everyone, for the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to sign up to log into MyVirginMedia, tried several browsers tried the virginmedia app & resetting the password and then I get to the screen which says hooray you verified your email address, then it asks me to set a security question, answer, date of birth, mobile number then once I’ve completed all those fields and submitted it it then comes back with wait a minute or try later encountered a problem error code DEF01. Can’t even check my EE billing or usage or anything like that and heavily rely on online activity where I am blind
