Return of a Hub 3 requested 6 months later - no prepaid label

How to obtain one please? A link I found to a VM Collect+ page was broken (as is the link to the Collect+ Store Locator in the email that was received requesting the return.)

As we had frequent outages for the 2 months or so that the Hub 3 was in use, we guessed that we hadn’t been asked for it back at the time as it must be faulty (we’ve had no problems at all since the Hub 5 arrived.) Thankfully we still have the Hub 3 and are able to return it. Is the return of the power adapter required?

The reason I ask is that the power lead we had for it has a label on it saying only to be used with Hub 2. The Hub 3 was fitted by an engineer when the earlier hubs were retired, and he only switched the hub and not the power lead. I don’t want to be accused of returning the wrong lead and being charged for it when I am returning all that I have.

You can use either, or both of the following links to find your nearest store (they have different shops listed)

You don't need  to return the power lead, but if yuo want rid of it then just enclose it in your returns package (you won't be charged for sending back the wrong one)

Thanks for this - have ordered.

Are you able to clarify the whether the power lead is required? A pamphlet I found online mentions cables, however as I explained above we have never had a power lead marked for use with the Hub 3.

The email can be ignored if you've not got the router but if you are sending back, just send the router back don't worry 🙂

Thanks @John_GS for your help - we will just pop the Hub 3 in by itself when the returns kit arrives then.

 

I never usually know what username to pick but the period of almost constant Hub 3 outages made that jump to mind. Wasn’t fussed about having a newer Hub capable of higher speeds, just reliability (the Hub 2 had given almost faultless service for 8 years, and if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it as they say.) Luckily the Hub 5 is proving to be a worthy successor.
