Hello, brand new to the online community. Was hoping to get some help regarding a renewal. My contract is due to expire soon and tried to cancel service but the person I spoke to convinced me to let him see if he could do a deal to keep me as a customer. My original deal was the 1gb volt package, 2 boxes all channels, phone line and an o2 sim. I was cancelling due to the huge price jump, anyway the customer service rep asked if I was interested in keeping this very same package, I said yes I would be at the right price. He came back to the phone a few minutes later and said he could do the deal for £70 per month but I have to still pay o2 separately, I agreed deal, I received an email confirmation and to my shock the price was changed to £80, broadband was reduced to 350mb, entertainment, sky movies uhd and maxit TV all removed and home phone reduced. I contacted virgin via telephone, spoke to a couple of different people but they couldn't help not find the deal I was offered, the second person had to put the original volt package back onto my account as he needed to "add a package to my account so he could investigate this issue, he said he would check the recorded call and get back to me. I'm just concerned that no one will get back and I'll be stuck paying the £140 that the package apparently costs.
