I spoke to the retentions team today, and they made me a good offer to stay on my Ultimate Volt package. As part of the conversation I asked if I could drop the O2 SIM, as that is the main bugbear in terms of cost and coverage, and was told that would be OK.
However, looking through the Volt T&Cs, it appears that the SIM is an integral part of the Volt package, and dropping it may lead to the charges for the TV/broadband part increasing? Checking the previous discussions on here it looks as though people have had mixed experiences, so should I stick with retention team's comment and renew, then ditch the O2 part? ( I have the transcriot from our discussion, and I guess I have the cooling off period too).
