Registration - 'Can't use that password'

Good afternoon,

I have the same issue as many other posters before. 

I am a new customer and have had Virgin installed and I try to Register for Virgin Media and input a password that meets the criteria and I get the response 'Can't use that password etc'.

I have cleared my cache, history and have tried it on an alternative browser without success.

Please can you advise?

Hi @Soyer

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear you're having issues registering an account with us. Can you try following these criteria for your password;

  • Between 8-10 characters
  • Start with a letter
  • Contain at least one number
  • No special characters

Can you try this on another browser and try not to use Chrome. Let me know how you get on and if these error message still show.

I'm sorry to see you are having issues with setting the password up on your online account. Please can you confirm if the passwords you are using fall within the criteria mentioned above by Carley?

Also just to confirm are your services fully installed and have been active for more than 14 days?
