Refund after Cancellation Advice

Hi there,

Due to recently leaving Virgin Media I am to receive a refund for my credited account.

I have been informed by an advisor over the telephone that my refund would be processed over the next 45 days. This would then be issued via a postal cheque, to be send to my old address.

I asked if the cheque could be send to my new address?  As I no longer have access to the old property. I was informed this wasn't possible until the cheque was produced and that I should call back up to query in the next few weeks. No set datw was given.

This seems strange that a refund cheque can't be sent to my new address and that I have to call before the cheque is sent out to my old address to inform that it has to go to my new address. What happens if the cheque is processed and sent out before I call?

Could anyone from Virgin Media or the Community advise, does this seem correct?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Ian

Re: Refund after Cancellation Advice

Hi B-of-H,

Really sorry that you've been advised this, we can certainly update the address and get the cheque to your new address.

We'll pop you a personal message now and take it from there.

Thanks.
