Red light on hub 3

Hi,

I have red light on my hub that's been on for a while now . I have followed the instructions on all the other forum posts but the red light appears back.

The Internet works but is slower than usual and the forums suggest it's over heating ?

Can someone help as I don't want it to catch fire if that's the case

Thanks

Please confirm you have a hub3 and have done a pin hole reset.

Hi @PaulClaire42

Welcome to the community forums

So sorry to hear of your concerns with your hub and the red LED warning you have. This can sometimes be due to an LED error rather than any service issues or overheating with the hub itself.

I have checked the systems at our side and cannot see any reason that might cause the service to be slow.
Please can you try a 60 second pin hole reset on the router. This will revert any customisations back to factory settings and full update the router with firmware/software updates. Please do not reboot the router whilst it is completing the pin hole request.

Let us know if the light continues to be red after the pin hole and we can support further if needed.

Here to help 🙂

I have done this and the red light still appears

Thanks for coming back to us PaulClaire42, I would be happy to take a further look into this for you but first I would need to confirm a few details via private message, please look out for my message and we can get started.
Kind Regards,
